3M™ ScaleGard SF165 Steamer Filtration System
The 3M™ SF165 ScaleGARD™ Steamer Filtration System helps provide consistent recipe quality water with reduced sediment and chlorine taste and odor. Operating cost savings from the controlled and metered addition of scale-inhibitors reduces the precipitation of calcium and magnesium into hard scale scale in both high and low temperature applications, including steamers, ice machines, coffee brewers, and espresso machines.
The SF165 Cartpak consists of the following filters.
(1) HF-65 filter
(1) HF8-S filter
A complete system replacement filter kit can be purchased as the SF165 Cartpak.
The HF65 filter cartridge reduces sediment and chlorine taste & odor using a high quality carbon block filter media with a 3-micron rating.
The HF8-S filter provides a built-in scale inhibitor that helps prevent the potentially harmful effects of hard water magnesium and calcium scale build-up on restaurant equipment.
